1. Actually if there is a judging God I believe She will indeed judge us on abortion and gay rights.

The anti-choice movement is about punishing women for having illicit sex, not about saving fetuses. As Ted Turner said years ago, "if fetuses are humans, why don't we have funerals for miscarriages?"

And the anti-gay movement is just another instance of trying to punish people for who they are, like any form of prejudice.

If my hypothetical God were all hung up on fetuses, why would She allow miscarriages? And if She hates gays, why did She create them?

So in my religion, anti-choice and anti-gay stances would be sins. And if my God were a punishing God, She would save some special "treats" for the nasty haters who try to run the lives of others.

The only connection I can think of is that they both have something to do w. sex.

Bu that's quite a stretch. The circumstance where abortion is an issue comes about as a result of sex ( obviously) but so do a lot of other things.

God loves Homosexuals, including the ones in Libya , the 12 slated for mutilation and murder just for being gay--- totally outrageous, by the way. He created the immense talent inherent in gay men and women because he knew that fallible procreative men would misinterpret components of the Bible/scripture with short-sighted and selfish intent. For all the Hellish ugliness that we see today in the world, it is generally rare when we see anything but beauty and love from the gay community. God loves Homosexuals, quod erat demonstrandum.
