Florio: NFL Teams Want To Know If Manti Te’o Is Gay

Apparently NFL teams aren’t buying Manti Te’o's declaration that he’s not gay.

After the fake girlfriend hoax exploded in January, Katie Couric asked Te’o if he was gay and the former Notre Dame linebacker nervously responded: ”No, far from it, far from it.”

But according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, NFL teams are still wondering if Te’o is indeed gay and they want to know the answer.

I am curious as well, but I am worried they will use the info to discriminate.

3. It's no one damn business if he is or isn't. My goodness people have rights. So what if he was

gay? What is the NFL players going to do about it? Shame on them. No wonder people stay in the closet. How many of these guys are married and fooling around on their girlfriends or wives.

Not saying he isn't gay. But, I would say it's more likely he is naive.

6. Two points...first, this is Mike Florio, so take this with a large grain of salt...

Secondly, if true, I am sure that despite all the talk about how we'd accept an openly gay player, a large portion of the players/owners/gms/ would not.
