Today was a huge step in the right direction. The effects are already becoming evident (a gay man was not deported because he is legally married to a New Yorker).

My partner came home for lunch and hadn't heard the news. I told him this makes things more likely that one day we could marry. I asked him if he wanted to get married. His response? "Yeah, sure. I just don't want a big wedding!" LOL! My man, the human understatement!

Yeah, I know I'll probably have the avatar for quite a while, but I don't care. As The Good Dr. King said, "An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere."
