For the purpose of clarification and apology only:

I made a post on this thread yesterday which was interpreted as homophobic and hidden by jury decision:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=3390567

Reading it in full context this morning, I can see why it would be seen that way.

For that I apologize and concur with the jury decision.

I only want you to know that it was not my intention to make a homophobic remark at all.

I thought the thread was about Jodi Arias, not Ariel Castro.

I admit to being stupid and confused last night, and not reading the name fully.

Those who know me, know that I am a friend and ally of the LGBT community.

Your response didn't make any sense. I'm surprised someone didn't ask you about it first before they alerted. I'm old with really poor eyesight I misread things all the time. No worries.

I saw it this morning and although it didn't make any sense, I hardly found it offensive.

And I was gently trying to point that out.

LOL!

Thank you for your kind words.

It is an honest mistake. Some jury decisions make no sense at all. I'm not sure if it a time of day thing (maybe some jury members were tired at the time?) or what. Thank you for the explanation though. It makes sense now.
