No reason to get your "panties in a wad".

Russian vigilantes are videoing the kidnapping, beating and torture of young gays

What a seriously f’d up country. Russian anti-gay extremists, emboldened by (and many suspect, in cahoots with) the Putin government’s crackdown on gay and trans Russians, have reportedly begun kidnapping and beating gay men, especially teenage boys, with ads on gay social networks.

When the boys and men show up for what they think is a sex date, they’re held hostage, abused, have urine poured on them, and then beaten.

(snip)

These self-proclaimed “crime fighters” perform their actions under the broad day light, often outside and clearly visible to general public that indifferently passes by or even commend them. Video recordings of bullying and tortures are freely distributed on the Internet in order to out LGBT teens to their respective schools, parents and friends. Many victims were driven to suicide, the rest are deeply traumatized.

So far Russian police took no action against these “movements” even though Russian criminal code was clearly violated and despite numerous complaints from parents, victims and LGBT activists.

Well now I see why they dont have time to round up the named, faced, torturers. Theyre busy arresting people for, lemme guess, waving a flag? The streets must be so much safer now.

Oh, and I read that the kid in the bottom pic in my post killed himself. Nothing to see here.
