Rainbow-Colored Nail Polish Breaks Rules, Athlete Told in Moscow

Rainbow-colored nail polish is against the rules, a Swedish athlete was told while competing in Moscow this month at the World Athletics Championships.

High jumper Emma Green-Tregaro had painted her nails during the competition to show support for LGBT Russians. But when she took the field on Saturday, her nails were all colored red, not rainbow.

Representatives for the IAAF, which oversees Swedish track and field, told Agence France-Presse and the Associated Press that it never asked the high jumper to remove the nail polish and merely pointed out the code of conduct.

Chickenshits. They "merely" went along with the bigoted demands of the homophobic host country.

All mouth guards, socks, sweat bands, et al in the colors of the rainbow should be furnished to all athletes. Not only that, hair color, braids, etc, anything to stick it up the nose of the Olympic committee.

. . .odds are the IAAF officials would be torn to shreds.

Painted fingernails have been a tradition and trademark among said athletes.

Just another example of standing on a cement block to kick a duck in the ass.

It is nothing but a Big Business--a corrupt business--that overburdens the poor and the taxpayers of any given country, all so that the Big Business can pocket more wealth.
