So my brilliant state's GOP proposed a bill twice as half-baked and three times as evil as those they typically shit out. It basically gives kids the right to bully others as long as they can back it up with a particular religious or political conviction.

To contextualize this a bit, this state has seen the suicides of Jacob Rogers and Phillip Parker in fewer than two months. These boys killed themselves because they were bullied due to their orientation. And now, instead of making sure they didn't die in vain, the Republicans in this state are trying to give the ilk who drove them to their deaths a soapbox to stand on.

I tend to be apathetic toward petitions, but this is just too close to home not to sign. Will you please sign and pass on?
