(6,409 posts)Isn't Jackie Mason something like 500 years old? I have to look it up. Be right back. Born June 9, 1931. So I guess he's 84 years old. I guess he's expressing some of that resentment that overcomes people when they get old. The world changes, and we don't like it, preferring to remember things as they weren't.

(53,959 posts)Many people still think "gay" is still acceptable as the butt of the joke, one only needs to peruse the pages here. He is an example of someone who has refused to grow with the society and is stuck in a time which, thankfully, no longer exists. I am taken back by his comments about how we have taken over the media or whatnot, especially given he is Jewish, which in of itself, gives people license to hate him and share their "outrage" at his homophobia. It just goes to show, no matter the group, no one is immune to the disease that is bigotry.
