Shocking video shows lesbian unable to prove gender being FORCIBLY REMOVED from women’s bathroom

A video has resurfaced which shows a lesbian being removed from a bathroom in the US, after she cannot prove that she is female.

The video, uploaded by blogger Tamara McDaniel, shows the woman being forcibly removed from a bathroom by police who ask her for ID.

Despite other women in the bathroom protesting that she is female, and that they cannot remove her from the bathroom, the police aggressively make her leave.

The police continually refer to the woman as “sir”, as another woman, filming the incident, says: “This is a girl and you guys are harassing her because she is a dyke… This is so sad”.

“You got no ID? Get out.” says the officer before grabbing the woman.

5. The first link you directed us to is about a 54 year old woman and that is false.

That is not what is in the OP and is misleading. The second is another misleading use of the good site at Snopes in that the OP never once claimed that this was in North Carolina, but is a woman being forced out of a bathroom for not having ID that says she is female. Please read the article and watch the video first.

about this video. Comes from UK, not NC. A tad too timely. I totally support LGBT issues but think this one's a hoax.

9. Nowhere does it say the video is from NC.

There are two stories in the article. The first is from the US. If you would watch the video you can clearly see that the police officers are American, complete with American flags on their uniforms. Here, read the Snopes on the first story:

All it says is somewhere in the US, not saying where. If anything, this is reflective of what's happening in this country where 22 states now have bills or initiatives pendeing to strip away LGBT rights.
