Trump needed one last delegate's vote to win the GOP nomination.
And once again, LGBT people were used. A means to an end.

(1,549 posts)I do not believe Trump had any ideological hatred of gays, his track record as a businessman shows nothing of the sort.
Likewise, Mussolini on his way up had some support from Jews and never said they were racially un-Italian or anything of the kind.
But when it came to what was politically expedient ... you know the rest.
