Am I the only one?

Nelson releases gay cowboy song

Country music star Willie Nelson has released a tune about gay cowboy romance for Valentine's Day.
Nelson said the release, Cowboys Are Secretly, Frequently (Fond of Each Other), was timed to coincide with Oscar hopeful Brokeback Mountain.

The song, originally written in 1981, was played for the first time on Howard Stern's radio show on Tuesday.

"The song's been in the closet for 20 years. The timing's right for it to come out," said Nelson.

P.S. I do have to say though that the time frame this was released, was a very low point in my life.

TGRA and GSGRA. I'll admit to having entertained a gentleman caller or three who had come into town seeking the kindness of strangers

Oh, I do have a soft spot for cowboys. There are a lot of gay ranchers and farmers out there; most folks generally don't see or notice them (not even GLBTs). Give me a cowboy, rancher, or farmer any day (wistful sigh).
