It seems to me that the idea that coverage of women's health needs is an option open for discussion assumes that women's "plumbing" is an aberration where human physiology is concerned.

1. YES!!! And it's as stupid as it was when we thought we were fixing it in the seventies...

Thankfully it is MUCH less of an issue in actual medicine - there's this thing about science where when something shows up as unequivocally better in all ways, it tends to get adopted.

But the funding system, and the way the people managing it appear to think, seems to date from the fifties.

Even more annoying, biologically, across all sexual beings, female is normal and male is the genetic aberration with the peculiar chromosome.
