(27,683 posts)I remember visiting DC one time (I've been there around 18+ times; (half for demos & marches, half for fun); and The Museum of American History happen to have an exhibition of The Suffragettes. And I've have seen historical photos on line.
Also marched in a Fall evening '92 in NYC to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of women in NYS getting the vote.
Loved it; people were waving from their windows down to us!
