5 Ways Women Are Still Marginalized in America Today - International Women’s Day
International Womens Day will be celebrated by events around the world on March 8.
Women have made enormous strides since this day was first honored over 100 years ago: from women entrepreneurs, female bishops and moviemakers, to women in male-dominated industries such as STEM and politics, and men and women sharing equally in the raising of their children.
And yet there are still numerous ways in which women remain marginalized. Here are just five instances of how our children are learning from the world around them that women are less important than men.
