I wouldn’t have been afraid if it had been a woman it’s just that simple. I went into a convenience store and appealed to the clerks, and they walked out with me. So she’s right it’s not all men. but it’s never women

Sometimes art or music can find a crack in our defenses that allows a message through. I’m not generally defensive when it comes hear statements about men, regardless of their breadth, but in this society I find reminders to listen rather than react helpful. Her video not only touched my heart, it activated my mind.
