Related: About this forumbarometric pressure and arthritic pain
I was in intense pain this morning in my lower back where I have arthritis. By this afternoon it had dissipated greatly. Since a storm recently brought lots of rain and has now moved away I wonder if the two could be related.
Will ask my rheumatologist when he calls me back. This is pretty amazing...

(111,266 posts)My arthritis doesn't kick up, but my healing fracture sure did before the front came through around noon. It woke me up early, hurting almost as much as it did back in April.
I've found it takes a fracture a couple of years to settle down completely and start ignoring the weather.

(21,849 posts)Barometric pressure drops when a storm is coming in. It rises as the storms moves away. You feel increased pain with the drop in pressure.
I get migraines with drops in barometric pressure so I understand. I feel your pain.
