Sensitive teeth

I have suffered from gum disease for years. Last two years, with delayed of dentist visits made it worth.

So I finally visited a periodontist; my former one moved from the area.

After a serious lecture about how my life depends on serious teeth cleaning, I underwent "Periodontal Scaling and Root Planing" where the gums tissue is pushed back (under Novocaine, of course) and even though I was told not to chew on the side treated they were still sensitive.

I was given a few very thin proxy brushes. I think even thinner than a toothpick, and was told to dip the brush in a Sensodyne toothpaste and spread between the gums. And leave it for the night. Not to rinse.

And.. it worked. I did it for two weeks, I think, and no longer sensitive teeth. For now..

I'm a rinser. I was told not to rinse my Sensodyne enamel toothpaste out. I'll try it. It'll be hard
