Warning: Tear Jerking Story of a Miracle Baby
DISCLAIMER: When not on DU or working as a computer geek, I am the (volunteer) Executive Director of the Preemie Growth Project; the family below is *NOT* in a part of our project, but did follow the suggested protocol, along with doing some additional things that were very wise.
I have received the family's permission to post this video; it is ... amazing.
SUMMARY: 28 week preemie, born weighing 2 lbs 13 oz, bilateral brain bleed (level 3 and 4) at two weeks, nine weeks in the NICU, diagnosed with both spasticity (cerebral palsy sign) and retinopathy of prematurity.
The video is a celebration of her life at one year old.
Her family considers her a miracle. Honestly, I do, too.

P.S. We have over one hundred and twenty children in the Project seeing similar "dramatic results" - YEAH! - but unfortunately, we also have another forty who have seen no benefit at all.
We will be doing a public "Results Forum" in Michigan at the end of September if anyone is interested in the data.
