A couple of recommendations

Fake
An artist uses his talent to create fakes. Unknown cast except for Robert Loggia. Good acting, tight story.

Puncture
Drug-addicted attorney and his partner take on a case involving a nurse who has been pricked by an infected needle. Uncovering a web of conspiracies, they find themselves outmatched. This is along the lines of Erin Brockovich—little guys against the big guys. Based on a true story. Again an unknown cast, but good acting all around.

Saw puncture about a month ago. It was a good honest effort. Enjoyed it.

I'll catch Fake at your rec. I've been a Robert Loggia fan for years (Lost Highway sealed the deal.)

When the gangster says, "Where's my painting?" and the forger says, "They put it back."

So the real painting ended up going back to the museum. (Or to it's home.) I wasn't clear how they did it, though.
