The eight episode mystery series "Stay Close" on Netflix is a great
escape from the endless bullshit on cable news.

(37,117 posts)I've seen them all.
Check out "The Stranger" next.
A little off beat - but will keep you guessing.
I can't believe that no American producers picked up Coben's work. I have fun 'imagining' the settings/sets in my neighborhood (books are based in NJ/NYC area).

On each title there is a + sign.

Click the + and the title is added to your list. The + is changed to a checkmark.
I also keep all the series I've watched on the list so I have a record of what I watched.

(27,125 posts)I don't think there will be a 4th series. Read they planned on it being a trilogy.
More....page down. Don't want to spoil it for anyone.

I don't think there could be a 4th season. They pretty much killed off all the main characters in the last few episodes. And she ended up with her child to take care of. However, they could always skip a few years ahead and start off in a different direction. But the last series was a bit off the rails.

(10,492 posts)The character was so over the top. No reasonable person, but especially a trained dectective, would do some of the stupid and dangerous stuff she did.

(13,653 posts)I've watched Safe and The Stranger, too. I found a webpage that lists nine Harlan Coben novel-based series:
