Nip/Tuck

SparklyJr told Sparkly she had really gotten into this one. So we started watching.

Man. Actually not bad, but very dark. It is about two plastic surgeons who are partners but very different. One is a family man with most of his issues in that realm. The other one is more of a horn dog that David Duchovny in Californication. The epitome of a slimeball.

This was made about 10 years ago but doesn't feel old.

It only gets better as it progresses. These best friends are very much shadows for each other. They are often more alike than not as the series evolves.

Enjoy it.

When I first saw it, I thought: a series about plastic surgery? Get real. Well, it was excellent and just got better as it went along.

I was riveted and assumed he was compiling the first several shows, but no -- it was just the first episode!

Then I got into it for a while, but drifted away. I may re-up!

5. As the series goes on, we're finding the son, Matt to be quite unlikeable.

Also, they try to pack a lot in each story line. As a result, there have been a few episodes of shark jumping. Small sharks, to be sure, but still sharks.
