Then Breakdown is your movie.1997 starring Kurt Russell, Kathleen Quinlan and J. T. Walsh.

Some amazing stunts with vehicles and a semi. Filmed, it looks like, in Arizona and New Mexico. Excellent acting, but the stunts are over the top. Good stuff. Keeps you on the edge od your chair.

I love Kurt Russell and somehow did not know of this movie. I'll be checking it out this weekend. Thanks for the heads up!
