Orange Is The New Black

The new Jenji Kohan series just dropped on Netflix, all thirteen episodes. If you're a Weeds fan, you're already on your way to the first episode. For the rest of you, there is so much that could have gone wrong with a series about a "nice blonde lady" starting her prison term for helping smuggle drug money that one time ten years ago. None of it is.

For God's sake, people! Captain Janeway is a prison boss in this series! Why are you not watching this right now!?

It's at least as great, if not greater, than the first few seasons of Weeds.

I watched it through the weekend and loved it. Don't know why the promos didn't reel me in.
Now I have to sit and wait for Lilyhammer to start Season 2.

The series is amazing and they have a great ensemble cast. I watched all 13 episodes in less than two days.

Looking forward to season two!!

We just dumped our cable a week or so ago and subscribed to Netflix. Already saw House of Cards (the american one) which was great, and got a bit of TED tv, and Orange is spinning now.

It's really, really good and highly recommended.

There are so many to pick from, plus we got a Roku which opens up a lot of other 'free' stuff.

Goodbye cable, and fuck you Wolf Bliztzer, Tweety and Storage Wars.
