Ack! Netflix just pulled season 5 of Fringe
Apparently they weren't supposed to release it until September. So, I'm halfway through and now have to wait until September. Sigh.

Walter Bishop rules!
BTW, there's a series of Fringe novels coming out. The first novel "The Zodiac Paradox" is out now. "The Burning Man" is due any time. "Sins of the Father" is due in Nov. Plus there is "September's Notebook" and DC Comics has done 3 trade paperback collections of comics.

(13,386 posts)I simply cannot praise this series enough.
Walter Bishop is a remarkable character and it's downright criminal that John Noble was never nominated for an Emmy for his performance. His work in the second season episode titled "Peter" is some of the best work I have seen on a television series. Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson were also wonderful in their roles. I'm looking forward to Torv's upcoming role as a lesbian on a new HBO series. She's fantastic.

(1,999 posts)I finally managed to commandeer the big screen in the living room and couldn't find it on Netflix.
Consoling myself with "Painted Lady" with Helen Mirren, which looks like it will be good.
