BRIGHT......Don't miss it!

The Science Fiction/Fantasy film, BRIGHT, is a well done masterpiece that combines Humans, Elves, Orcs, and other species in a turbulent Los Angeles of the near future.

Starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton, this captivating and often humorous film takes you on a hell of a journey of a thrill ride. This is definitely worth your time. I LOVED IT!!!!!

3. Netflix broke the news that there will be a sequel not long after the film went online. NT

4. Very good, but murky. Everything was shot in darkness.

Half the time one couldn't tell which character was speaking. I do recommend watching it, but I hate gloomy, shot-in-the-dark movies.

5. I got caught up in the visuals and I missed a lot of the dialog.

I came away with the impression it was Jim Crow and the future version of white supremacy for humans, and discrimination for all the other beings. I'm going to watch it again this weekend just to see what I missed.

6. I felt it was entertaining, but not great. They went for having the characters being chased around

nonstop and Will Smith-esque one liners instead of showing us more of the world they created. Edgerton was great. This is essentially an updated version of the film Alien Nation. Hopefully, they tighten up the writing for the sequel.

And watched about 10 minutes of it. Didn't do much for me. And I rarely not finish movies.
