(4,076 posts)I have to wonder if there was a technical advisor familiar with criminal court procedure. Since when can a lawyer address the jury between questions asked of a witness? Why did it take the judge so long to punish the lawyer who repeatedly ignored his admonitions to shut the fuck up?
(Spoiler alert) At the end of season 1, the least guilty cop has been found guilty of negligent homicide and gets a lenient sentence. So far, so good. But he has perjured himself by not mentioning that the other three cops were present when he drove away from the scene of the accident. Those other three are guilty of premeditated murder and haven't even stood trial yet. What will happen to them? Will there be a second season, and, if so, will it tie up this enormous loose thread?
