"The OA" Pt 2 - jumped the shark- SPOILERS

Anyone watching The OA pt 2? Totally jumped the shark - or the octopus, as it were. Was really great until the octopus moment, and then started sucking hard. Finished the next episode after the octopus, not improved. Anyone finish yet? Does it recover?

Though it was quite different than season one, it was worth hanging in there to the end. Very interesting cliff-hanger.

I should have quit after the first season. Not going to waste my time with the next season, if there is one.
