and I don't even particularly care all that much about pottery, lol. It's so interesting, though. I tried throwing a pot once and ended up with a hockey puck/ashtray. Big fat fail. It never did get tall.

On edit: Their use of covers of First Wave British Invasion hits is brilliant.

1. I hate videos like this--they give a brief, rushed nanosecond glimpse of the

pottery, and then just show the faces of the people talking.

4. Did you watch the entire episode? They go through the entire process from raw clay to

finished product. It is a competition show, so they can't stay on one potter. Sorry I irritated you.

7. I have... It was really good. I think he was the most "comfortable in his skin" among any athlete,

dancer, horseback rider or otherwise physically-trained person I've ever seen. He oozed incredible skill that just seemed to come naturally, yet I think he was a really good guy.

And he loved animals. Yeah!

I love art competition shows. They can be inspiring. Britain has others too on their Sky Arts channel. Landscape Artist of the Year, and Portrait Artist of the Year. They are really good. You see the paintings of all the contestants too, not rushed.
