As of May 3 it's been 1 year since I finished treatment.

Right now my concern is my Thyroid. My TSH levels are fine due o the Synthroid. I will get an ultrasound Wednesday to check on my Thyroid.

(23,651 posts)I don't know you. I haven't been part of your journey. You and I may not have exchanged words in the relatively short time I've been part of the forum.
That said, I'm happy for you. I want everyone to overcome cancer. Damn awful disease. Enjoy each day!

(2,324 posts)Good for you! I never realized how long this sort of treatment and recovery would be, and how many small steps were involved. i recently passed my one year since the start of treatment, and that felt pretty strange.

(60,196 posts)My beard has not grown back, but there's enough for a pitiful goatee. I hadn't shaved since August 1969, so I guess it was time for a change. The goatee was my wife's idea. I even bought a norelco shaver. I love gadgets
