I broke my leg on Jan.7

I've been in rehab since then. The rehab facility is in a nursing home. I've been here for three months and I think I'm losing my mind. Nobody to talk to, no privacy and no independence. Thankfully, I should be back home in about a month.
Has anybody else here served a stint in a nursing home?

I hope you can hang in there until they spring you! You can hang out with us as much as you can!

Never done the rehab stint but several friends and acquaintances have. At least you know you can leave around a certain date!

2. My SIL was in recently

Had a hip replacement that got infected. It was only a few miles away so I went every day to see her. Hope you have some family too. We took her food every day because what they served was not very good. I wish you well.

5. It was good of you to visit her.

I wouldn't call it loneliness, exactly. It's just a feeling of being cut off from the outside world. I have a sister who visits and a good friend who stops by. She's looking after my cat. I really miss the little monster. I keep buying him toys from Amazon because I don't want him to be bored. I can't wait to be annoyed by him again.
