The first question my therapist asked was about the kidcats

The second was about how I was sleeping. I told him not much. I guess I look as worn out as I feel.

He was upset to learn my assessment appointment was pushed so far back and said he's going to take care of things and will call me in a day or so. That was a relief.

I think I cried just twice. Once when I told him about losing the kittens and once when I talked about my frustration with the appointment problem. He also advised I not make an appointment with the callous APN until I get the anxiety medication situation settled. Not a problem. I figure I won't be able to get an appointment soon so I'll just ask for my prescriptions to be renewed, in the mean time. I think they are a bit short staffed.

Meantime I am going to finish feeding the kidcats, try to think of something to make for supper, and then head to bed VERY early. It looks like the severe weather is going to pass to the south of Flint so that worry is off the list. I have 2 days to get as much outdoor work done before the heat wave hits and then figure out how to keep the outdoor fur babies as comfortable as possible.

Again, I am beyond grateful for everyone's kind words and support.

So we'll see.

I'm glad you have the indoor kidcats. They can be a comfort. I have 2 who are on my lap easing the anxiety of disturbing news from a CT scan yesterday.

These 3 in the house and the one dog and goat outside bring stuff in perspective.

Thinking about you and sending love. I feel like I know a bit about you from your love of the fur people.

Think. Again.

...I, for one, truly appreciate the care, concern, and outright love you freely give to those extremely lucky cats!

Yes, some of them have suffered greatly in the past, and you always step right up to do all you can to balance their life experience with simple human kindness.

Your goodness is rare in this world, and although you already know how much you mean to those little ones, I wanted you to know that I am also extremely grateful (for them!) that you are exactly who you are.
