And this little minor tidbit -- my music addiction appears to be permanent.

I guess it's a security blanket. I never watch tv or anything online except possibly a few minutes of 'World News' on ABC (ok, I kinda have a thing for Diane Sawyer, too), not that I ever did very much before.

But I get somewhat anxious if I don't have something playing, even at work now, I bought two inexpensive Samsung Bluetooth headsets so I can listen all day without bothering anyone, two so I can keep one recharging while the other is in use.

Pretty harmless, but kind of weird, IMHO.

I now have 2642 songs on my iPod/iPad, 168 artists. I keep finding more of my older cd's and putting them on. And converting my old cassettes to digital.

No led zep, no heavy metal or metal at all. No rap,no hip hop, no country whiny stuff.
No Kenny G noodling, no new age wallpaper music.

I listen to classical symphonies, chamber music, jazz and some old rock 'n' roll.

I listen to mostly to pop, rock, some r&b, hip hop, and a little rap, such as Eminem because he is a hometown boy.

I listen to these stations in streaming audio at times:

I never grew up musically, I still listen to new stuff, plus going back through the 80's when I was a teenager. It is harder to find decent artists now, in the age of Bieber.

I don't KNOW them. 'Grew up' w Dad and THEN ROCK 'n ROLL! He had to get used to it, or ignore it, but I've never left the classics (or Broadway) either.

It's also been proven to help with depression and anxiety as well.

I have nearly 1100 songs on my iPod and listen to them a lot. It really helps my mood.
