I survived a suicide attempt 10 years ago today
I’m still here. I would have missed so much - Cubs winning the World Series, two girlfriends, a year long relationship, losing my virginity, my autographed Sports Illustrated collection I hold so dearly, different places I’ve traveled and countless memories I’ve made in my career.
I’m glad I’ve survived, but I also would’ve missed the insanity in this country since then.

She was deprived of oxygen in the woods for more than eight hours while the idiots looking for her refused to listen to me when I kept telling them where to look.
I had even warned my Dad earlier in the day that she was going to try something but he didn't take me seriously either.
She was on a respirator for three days.
She was never the same.
She was my best friend.
I miss her every day.
I'm so glad you are here with us. Because if you weren't, we'd be missing you.
