(7,924 posts)Life has a mean habit of throwing unwanted, life changing events in our paths. Occasionally time brings entirely different opportunities we may never have consider otherwise.
I have every faith that you will get beyond this and be astounded by your own growth. My old eyes have seen such things happen many, many times for women with courage and strength that ultimately astonished even themselves.

(12,881 posts)Isn't it funny how we become different people throughout our lives? This happened when I was 35. I was a different person then, than I was at 25. Now at 45, it's time to accept who I am at this moment in my life.

Accept who you are, but please dont allow your past to also be your present and future. Took me many years of meds and therapy, but Im happier now than when I was young. Though Id love to have my 21 year old body back without the arthritis
