And, once again... I am denied everything that I applied for (from the county).

No SNAP, no Cash Assistance, no medical bill relief, no medical aid, no assistance of any kind.

We will not make it as things stand. I am hopeful my husband can survive without the massive drain that my existence creates for him. I will be lying dead in a ditch, since there seems to be no other options.

And, the hand of the Doomsday clock moves to two minutes till...

Our Maine Congressperson Chellie Pingree was on the radio this week advising someone in a similar position to call her office. She said "That's what we are here for, to help you."

I am so sorry you are up against it like this.

The $24 a month isn't cutting it. I am not eating enough and have developed low blood sugar and lost a lot of weight.

I am spending a lot on prescribed over-the-counter items and they want receipts going back a year. I bought a lot of it on ebay and the receipts are gone along with the sellers.

I couldn't produce receipts going back a year so I got nothing more than the paltry $24.00 a month.

It sucks and yeah, I hear you. Elderly, disabled and living in poverty = very depressing situation.

We hang-in there some how. I hope I don't last for too long.

Take care.
