Some of you, us, are really hard on Little You.
Those of us with traumatic childhoods

Little You was doing the best you could and remember.....you were a new person, a small human, among unregulated and irresponsible damaged adults.

You learned how to shrink, or in my case, get BIGGER AND LOUDER.

You weren't an adult, but you operated like one because no one was looking out for you.

Be kind to Little You.

Your demons you carry....one of them is Little You.
You now would have protected Little You.
Honor them.

I heard a thing today.....

Damage that people with PTSD/C-PTSD doesn't come from the trauma event....many people experience horrible things and it doesn't result in long lasting trauma.

And actual desire/goal TO HURT YOU.

It wasn't accidental, it was DESIGNED TO HURT.

When you see someone capable and desiring to HURT YOU....it changes your brain, LITERALLY AND STRUCTURALLY, as a small person.
When your "caregiver" wants to HURT YOU, it changed you.

1. Bruce the Shark is a very kind man.

When my Mother died in October 2023, it was very very complicated for me. He and I were chatting on line about grief and loss. The next week in the mail came a small painted rock of his avatar, a shark with a crown, and a peacock feather from one of his Sparkle Chickens. The rock sits on the shelf with my family photos, the feather was confiscated by one of my cats.
