i'm still fighting the good fight

shit has been strange for far too long and now i'm in a state of intense self examination in a world that really doesn't really make much sense. nothing is on fire, it just makes no fucking sense and i feel like i'm trying to break down and rebuild in a time of extreme turmoil.

but i'm around and i'm pissed and i'm making noise and i'm not giving up.

you guys

We are in strange times, for sure. Politically, personally, even medically.

Keep on being around, and being pissed! Sometimes I think being angry is more healthy than being depressed........but who really knows? Anger does take more energy, that's for sure.

I had my right knee replaced about 2 and a half weeks ago and I am struggling to get well and back to whatever passes for normal these days. Narcotics mess with my head, too.

Stay in touch, OK?

You always have just the right words for each one of us.

My knees were replaced (one at a time) 12 & 13 years ago. Like childbirth, I guess I've forgotten the actual pain, but so glad I had it done then - I'm too old to go through it now. They still ache, but not like that horrible arthritis pain.

May you recover quickly.

For me, I identified it with the dissolution of the ego. It's both a painful and opportunistic time. Valuable insight can come right now.

Life's an adventure.

Or frequently a misadventure, in my case.

Either way, we walk away with stories to tell.
