Back story on this soup is that at Christmas we wanted a turkey. We only do pickup orders for groceries. In case they didn't supply a turkey I also ordered a frozen Butterball turkey breast. It comes in a roasting bag ready to cook. We cooked it a few days ago and it was so salty you couldn't taste anything but the salt. It made OK soup. Lots of rice soaked up the salt.

FLFC is sleeping, he had some meats and begging strip treats earlier. Some nights he has been getting up in the wee hours and asking for food. I suspect this will happen tonight.
