4. zucchini cornmeal pancakes

I was going through some old recipes on a backup external hard drive and forgot about this recipe, which I've made many times.

Since I have some washed, fresh cherry tomatoes, I'll have those on the side along with a breakfast sausage.

Decaf coffee.

(Bacon days are a challenge for me--probably a challenge of my own making. The pups can smell it, but I usually let Al be the generous one. So while I wait for him to rise from his slumber, I endure the pathetic "what about me?" looks from the dogs. lol)

7. I made pasta carbonara, Angel Majik cat, to my surprise jumped on the counter

he never did that in front of me.
That day I learned, some cats are bacon fiends too.

8. For sure, our cats like bacon too

The hot pan containing the bacon fat got put into the oven (to cool) so that the cats wouldn't jump on the counter to get to it.

Maybe it's just that felines don't know how to look pathetic. LOL
