Fish filets (Gardein--plant-based) with tartar sauce. First time I've tried them. I'll let you know what they're like in a future post.
Zucchini-corn pancakes topped with chives and a little sour cream.
Coleslaw, made with grated apples. Currants. Toasted slivered almonds on top.
Dessert: watermelon.
Later on, during my Friday night crime shows, I'll have Smartfood popcorn, white cheddar cheese flavor.

We have a birthday to celebrate! Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa is going to run again at the age of 88!
So I thought it would be a fun thing if we could celebrate Grassley's birthday by donating $88 to his opponent(s), one by one, to show the broad base of his opponents' support.
See this thread to donate $1 (or more if you wish):
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100215890506
There are two candidates, and we'll notify them they received campaign dollars in Grassley's honor.
Make it a happy one for Chuck!
