What's for Dinner, Thurs., Sept. 30, 2021

I'm making a cauliflower pizza crust. Will put tomato sauce, homemade, and air fry peppers and onions on it. Also olives and herb marinated mozzarella.

To go with it, I will have shrimp cole slaw. Little bits of shrimp, lots of shredded onion.

Dessert is a fruit bar. Wild cherry, to be specific. Only 70 calories and so delicious.

You said you might have lobster in last night's post.

That restaurant from last night looked charming.

OK, now I have a laugh for you. Many decades ago when I worked for the General Mills Restaurant Group as a PR and marketing person, they sent me to Boston to straighten out a "mess." I asked what the mess was and I was told they had tried to serve Florida lobster at a Red Lobster in Saugus MA. And appropriate or not, had been threatened with a bomb and all the staff had to go home.

I don't remember how long it took to gain back any type of reputation to just break even and the restaurant eventually had to close

Maine or Massachussetts people don't consider Florida lobsters lobsters. What they consider them, I don't know.

They were 2 half potatoes. Not very hungry, had a fried haddock sandwich for lunch.

Desert is munching. Have Uncle Sam wheat berry and flax seed cereal. Not very flavorful.

We HAD to do our WalMart run today because we were running out of pet food. On the way home we stopped at the local Chinese restaurant. Lo Mein and Moo Goo Gai Pan.

I'm too tired to think about dessert--but there's ice cream if I decide I want some later.

Shopping is exhausting--especially unloading the car and getting everything put away.
