Coffee first
Later on Ghanaian Jollof Rice and chicken.
My very nice neighbor brought over a batch of her cooking last night to share. I am very lucky, she is a wonderful cook.

to have such a generous neighbor! Here's what I learned about it: "Jollof rice is basically rice that is cooked in a flavorful tomato-based sauce."

Apparently there is a bit of competitiveness among nations as to who has the best Jollof. Kind of like how we are about pizza, bagels, barbecue sauce, and chili.

Breakfast casserole this morning, along with air fryer sweet potatoes.

Of course I am having vanilla decaf chicory "coffee," for which I put in a new order from Amazon. Then I checked the Whole Foods specials this week for kombucha and I find out this same coffee is on sale, grrr. For a whole $1.07 less per package.
