But I'm not much of a microwave cooker anyway. Mostly used for warming up leftovers.

The key with salmon (I'm a filet fan over steaks) is to not overcook it. That could be difficult in the zapper.

Microwave salmon-unless it is for the kitties I'd say NO!

Heck the kitties probably say NO also.....

Treat properly with all around dinner : greens, spices, berries and cream.

Sauté with onions, mushrooms, green pepper, saffron, paprika.

A microwave that will reek of fish for quite awhile, go right ahead.

Never cook fish in the nuker. Aside from ruining it, it's sacrilege. And you may never get the smell out of the oven.

Even reheating it. It's kind of like putting fish in your car, the smell never goes away. Anybody who may have made that mistake can tell you.

But do be careful of hotspots turn often or do short bursts. Personally, I prefer salmon grilled over Mesquite.

it would be okay. Seals in the juices and keeps the smell inside the bag.

you can microwave it, but start it off at 50% power for about 3 minutes, and then go from there. I used to cook salmon in the microwave, but it is pretty fast to cook in the oven, and I think it is much better. YMMV.

I live in the middle of the country and any seafood remains special to me. I would broil salmon in a conventional oven, and serve it with food that makes it the special dinner that it is.

I have worked in more than one office which would not allow the cooking of fish in the breakroom microwaves.

Having said that I do not think it would be even close to good even if I did fix it
