Tonight's dinner.

Half a chuck-eye steak seared medium rare with garlic and capers, crispy smashed potato with sour cream and kosher salt, and asparagus spears (not pictured).

ETA: Guys, I really don't mind the responses, but, just in case, this isn't NJCher's official What's for Dinner post.

Have you ever had collard greens with cornbread dumplings? Delicious!

My husband and I each ate only half of our steaks last night. Since neither of us likes it just reheated, this morning I thin sliced his leftover half and sauteed with sliced baby bellas, sliced onion and garlic, fried one of the leftover potatoes in butter with an egg for his breakfast.

I don't usually eat breakfast, so will do the same with my leftover half for his breakfast again tomorrow. It's so delicious that way, also quick and easy so I can get it done and get on with the my day. LOL
