taken from the freezer (made a couple of weeks ago)

in gravy over egg noodles, buttered beets on the side

chocolate cake for dessert

Dad had stuffed chicken breast (it's a frozen thing, it was stuffed w/ broccoli and cheese), rice pilaf, steamed broccoli and a garden salad (iceberg, tomatoes, cucumber, celery, bell pepper, shredded carrot and onion) w/ raspberry pecan dressing.

His friends from church brought him some brownies today, so he has that for dessert.

and uninteresting airport food. Probably made for maximum shelf life.
I need to just fast and drink water rather than eat that stuff.

I’m a cook now (gawd help us), so the snacking is out of control.

Let’s see... a hotdog chucked in the deep fryer (yum, haven’t had a hotdog in ages), coconut shrimp dipped in warm orange marmalade, a small bowl of diced tomatoes, bacon, lettuce, ranch, and diced chicken tenders (I prepared too much for the wrap someone ordered), half a piece of blackened grouper (split with the other cook), fries, and calamari. I think that’s it. Oh, and some potato salad.

At least I stayed away from the ice cream machine today.

That’s an awful list of way too much fried stuff. Will do better (healthier) tomorrow.
Hopefully we will hire another cook soon and I can go back to my old position. We are being picky because we want not only a responsible adult, but one who will fit in well with us. We are kinda crazy.
