What's for Dinner, Fri., Apr. 22, 2022

Slow cooker garlic-herb pork sausages.

Whipped turnip puff ,which has cooked turnips (put them in the slow cooker earlier, they're cooled now), a little whole wheat flower, brown sugar, baking powder, olive oil, etc., and topped with toasted breadcrumbs. Then it's baked.

Tossed green sald with honey dijon dressing.

Cooked for Dad & Sis and ate w/ them.

When Al is ready for dinner, he has requested some tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. That's easy enough.

There's brownies and ice cream bars if we go looking for dessert.

I read lots of recommendations to cook broccoli in the InstaPot. I tried them and set the timer for 0 minutes. Result was waaaay overcooked mush. Live and learn.

and tossed salad for me, both leftovers.

TJ had a bacon and turkey sandwich. I don't know what else was on it.

FLFC doesn't have an appetite this evening, but he did have some bacon. We'll offer him more food later
