Would rather have fresh ones, all day long and ... ya know ... twice on Sunday

Anyways, enjoy!

By the way, were your pork chops with or without the bone? They always taste a little different-- still delicious-- each way.

The Landlady(!) bought a fresh whole red snapper at the market in Chinatown. She's prepared it in a Creole style first scoring the flesh then rubbing it with olive oil and seasoning it with curry and cumin. It'll be baked at 450º and should cooked fairly quickly. There's also a sauce made of garlic, onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped yellow pepper and simmered in olive oil and whited wine. As bonus, she's adding sliced mushrooms (they had to be used!).

Jasmine rice and a salad of Romaine, asparagus, garlic with oil and vinegar and salt and pepper fill out the meal.

Brandy and backgammon for dessert.

I hope everyone has a good week!
