I made a hash out of leftover pork loin, potato, onions, peppers and garlic. Had it w/ a cheesy egg.

Kind of sorry I did. I had a carb-free breakfast yesterday and felt good afterwards. I'm really thinking I need to cut back on the carbs--for me and for Al. I keep realizing that I just don't feel well when I eat them, and w/ Al's diabetes, he doesn't need them either.

(32,091 posts)But now that Im older I feel yucky whenI eat too many carbs. Ive been limiting myself on stuff like bread, cereal, potatoes, and things like that for a while, now, and I really do feel better and less bloated. Doesnt make me stop wanting them, though!

(22,767 posts)So we ran thru the drive-thru at the donut shop. I had raspberry filled as a rare treat and husband had a couple sausage rolls.
In the grocery order, I got some English muffins and cream cheese so husband will have something other than hard steamed eggs in the wee hours of the morning when he has to take ibuprofen.
