Food from Crete

Just spent 3 weeks on Crete. Here are some of the food pictures.
Most places we ate at were locally sourced for the major ingredients.
There are lots of greenhouses for Tomatoes and cucumbers. Of course
more than a few olives.
Fresh fish was on the menu in many places. And you could choose your fish
in some.

Greek salad.

to Basel Switzerland I that the Burger King beside the train station
had a meal deal. 1/4 pound cheese burger, fries and drink for a low, low, low...
18 Swiss francs.

I did not partake. We, instead, went to a specialty burger place and got a fancier version of the same for 25.

I do eat fast food here in Munich but it fits into the shaved meat on a pita category.

I've added a few things to next week's shopping list to make it. It all looks really good and like you're also having a good time.
