off to the super. Not much for tomorrow.

They wheeled Al into surgery about an hour ago. Before we left, I didn't eat because he couldn't eat. I came home and started to make myself something and... don't know... just not feeling it. My tummy feels a little uneasy. I don't think I realized how anxious I was until I got home to wait. I could have waited at the hospital, but to be honest, I figure the less contact I have w/ sick people, the better. There really isn't anything I can do there anyway.

So... I imagine I'll be hearing from the doctor sometime in the next few hours.

Fingers crossed and saying prayers and all that.

5. UPDATE on Al

Surgery complete. He's in the recovery room--groggy but fine. The surgeon is pleased with the post-op x-rays.

He should be moved to a regular room in an hour or two.
